Virtual Care is Dental Hygiene Education and Myofunctional Therapy services provided at a distance, by telephone or online like video conferencing. You can expect to receive safe, effective, customized and evidence-based dental care from the comfort of your home.
Dental Hygiene Services
Wellness is improved by preventative prophy dental cleanings reduce the plaque to whiten teeth and prevent disease. Periodontal therapy treats unhealthy inflammation in the gums and bone around the teeth. Gum inflammation and poor oral health increase the risk of secondary infections and body wide diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes and respiratory illnesses.
Myofunctional Therapy
The way you breath, eat and rest starts in the head, neck and mouth. Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (OMT) retrains unhealthy habits of the muscles involved in chewing, swallowing and breathing. OMT helps with TMJ pain, sleep apnea, poor oral habits (ex. tongue thrust, thumbsucking and nail biting). Myofunctional Therapy, also can improve outcomes of tongue tie, lip tie release surgeries and orthodontic treatment.
